Tea-r It!
This individual design project redesigned the shoe box, to provide a second life both the material and packaging. The system, aesthetic, and user experience of the shoebox is thoroughly analysed to design a realistic and sustainable concept.
Through multiple iterations, a shoebox concept that encourages repurposing with smarter cardboard cutting, and manufactured by upcycle a waste material is proposed.

To reduce embodied energy of the packaging and upcycle a currently useless waste, I experimented making cardboard partly with used tea leaves. Which has the side benefit of adding deodorising properties to the material.
